Performance Mentoring Programme - What to Expect

  • This is a live stream virtual programme.
  • The world of elite sport generates an intense pressure environment. Mentoring talented people within this highly demanding environment requires a methodical understanding of how people flourish under pressure.
  • Mentoring skills are also essential to how today’s leaders influence and inspire, and it is becoming increasingly clear that talented individuals are looking for leaders who can mentor them, as well as lead them.
  • The ability for leaders to coach/mentor effectively is now considered an essential skill. This means that mentoring skills should become an integrated component of any leader’s success. To mentor effectively they need to have an understanding of their own motivations and work hard to understand the motivations of others around them and to have the skills to connect effectively with them on a personal level.
  • This practical programme will help you understand how to help talented people flourish in a complex and often high pressurised environment. It will develop your capacity to help people change their behaviours and impact performance by developing deeper self-awareness in those you lead.
